About this course

Launch your employment pathways baking career and spend your workdays crafting quality cakes. Gain the skills to become an assistant baker as you learn foundational mixing, baking and decorating techniques in our commercial kitchen.

Entry Requirement / Recommendations

  • To be prepared for this course, we recommend you have:
    Minimum age 17 years
  • An interest in employment opportunity in the baking sector
  • An Aptitude for working with their hands
  • Non slip shoes, long pants and a t-shirt, polo shirt or long sleeve T-shirt
    ( Apron, Chefs Jacket, Chefs hat will be provided)
  • Levels of mobility and physical fitness to move around the kitchen
