Baking and Decorating
In our Baking and Decorating program, we embark on a journey through the fundamental steps of cake creation, ensuring participants acquire essential baking skills while opening doors to guaranteed employment pathways within our company. Our journey begins with an exploration of key ingredients, learning how to choose and adapt recipes to suit various dietary needs and preferences. We’ll then delve into the art of baking, where we’ll discuss techniques for adjusting flavours, textures, and aromas to create cakes that are both delightful to the palate and visually appealing. As we progress, you’ll discover methods for mastering essential baking techniques, from mixing and folding to decorating and finishing your cakes.
Front of House
Our Front of House program is designed to equip participants with the skills necessary to provide exceptional customer service in a variety of hospitality settings. You’ll learn about effective communication, customer engagement, and the importance of creating a welcoming environment for guests. The course will cover everything from managing reservations and coordinating seating to handling guest inquiries and ensuring a seamless dining experience. By the end of the program, you’ll be prepared to excel in roles such as host, server.
Back of House
The Back of House program focuses on the essential skills needed to efficiently run a kitchen or food preparation area. Participants will learn about food safety, kitchen organization, and the basics of cooking and meal preparation. The course will cover various cooking techniques, inventory management, and how to work effectively as part of a culinary team. Whether you’re interested in becoming a line cook, kitchen assistant, or pursuing a career in culinary management, this program provides the foundation you need to succeed.

Entry Requirement / Recommendations
- To be prepared for this course, we recommend you have:
Minimum age 17 years - An interest in employment opportunity in the Hospitality sector
- An Aptitude for working with their hands
- Non slip shoes, long pants and a t-shirt, polo shirt or long sleeve T-shirt
( Apron, Chefs Jacket, Chefs hat will be provided) - Levels of mobility and physical fitness to move around the kitchen
